Money was transferred in and then account locked

Money was transferred in then immediately account restricted. Cannot transfer money out of use money to buy stock. Customer service chat and message center has not functioned since. Have tried calling different numbers for E*trade and waited on hold over an hour each time. I will never use again after I finally get this resolved.

Awful experience

First, I am seeing unauthorized trades happening. Called yesterday and they said, we can't find a reason why and offered no resolution. I saw another one today, and now waiting to talk to a rep, and it's saying a 2 hour wait. This is unacceptable and grossly negligent when you are dealing with people's money.

Cannot Access my Funds

I have been trying to add a bank account to my Etrade account for two weeks now. The account that is on Etrade was closed due to my wallet being stolen. Adding an account is not working and there is an error message to call Customer Service. Etrade basically does not have Customer Service because no one ever answers. While calling the customer service phone number, I am told the wait time is 2 hours! Crazy! 2 hrs later, no one answers. No one ever answers. My funds are held hostage. I cannot remove them because Etrade won't let me.

LOST MONEY DURING TRANSFER

I was transferring 190.00 to bank. The system will not except a transfer if you don't have the funds. I made NO trades. Next I get notice of insufficient funds. The transfer never happened. The money just disappeared. What is the sense of having money there if they just outright keep it.

Frustration with customer service

I tried using E trade "Chat" for a question on differed losses. In the twenty one minutes I was online I had to state the same question three times and was transferred twice. I was then told they cannot help and I should phone their tax/Cost Basis department, I could request a call back which would take one to two days.

Etrade - Bad customer service for 2+ years
Complaint against E*TRADE Securities. 800-387-****. As executor of my fathers estate, I have been trying repeatedly to close out his account of $46.01. E*Trade Beneficiary Office dispersed the bulk of the funds from the account several years ago and I am known to the company as the legal representative. Closing the account is another matter. The company has refused to issue me a check and claim that I must work through their Beneficiary Office (888-402-****). I have called the Beneficiary office numerous times but cannot get through to them. Hours on hold and eventually get dropped. I have had the headquarters set up several call-back dates without ever getting a callback. The most recent is yesterdays no call under Case # 1234. E*Trade supervisors are no help.
