I was mysteriously unable to log on to my account as of late April. When I try to reset password I dont get a reset url to my e mail ...etc. I have been on hold for 25 minutes waiting for "customer service" to answer, still no answer.

Issue resolved

I previously posted a complaint about the frustrating process I had been through. Thanks to the diligent efforts of one ETrade rep, he was finally able to get things cleared up. Without him, I dont think it wouldve ever been resolved.

Can't logon to my account

Can't logon to my account. Tried reset password but it says it can't reset password. So I tried to call and get put on hold forever. WHAT DOES TO TAKE TO GET A HUMAN BEING TO HELP!!!!!!

Lost transfer money

Customer service

Wait times to speak with a customer service representative are unacceptably long. Today the estimated wait time per the recording was over 60 minutes. The actual time it took to speak with a CSR was in excess of 2 hours. Called yesterday and my phone dropped the call after an hour. Last week the estimated wait time was in excess of 2 hours so didnt stay on the phone. And the music is not that great either.

User's recommendation: Don’t use eTrade.

Bad customer service

I have been on the phone all morning, no answer, someone hacked into my account and paid a bill to T-mobile . I don't have a T-mobile account. I'm just trying to get my money back

They do not answer calls

Cant access my account they do not answer calls. I was on hold over an hour, they do not have call back option. They locked me out of my account and now I cant do anything. I am so angry.

Customer Service Wait Times

I have been on hold for exactly 2 hours and 59 minutes with customer service. I only want new debit cards, as the cheap plastic used for ETRADE debit's crack easily. I cannot understand why they can stay in business with this kind of crap customer service.

I transferred my accounts to Etrade, they froze my accounts and now I don't have access to my money nor can I transfer it to another brokerage. On hold for 6 hours trying to get my money. Stay away, read their Facebook page and see all the people complaining about the LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE and them freezing accounts. I wish I could give them ZERO STARS. One star is way too many.

Wait time unacceptable!

The customer service wait time is unacceptable. You can easily easily wait over an hour without any callback option. This company is the pits. Switching companies. They will lose droves of customers.

Cannot Access my Funds

I have been trying to add a bank account to my Etrade account for two weeks now. The account that is on Etrade was closed due to my wallet being stolen. Adding an account is not working and there is an error message to call Customer Service. Etrade basically does not have Customer Service because no one ever answers. While calling the customer service phone number, I am told the wait time is 2 hours! Crazy! 2 hrs later, no one answers. No one ever answers. My funds are held hostage. I cannot remove them because Etrade won't let me.

User's recommendation: Don't give your money to Etrade.
